Yesterday I received these lovely postcards, this one a postcrossing from Catherina-maria from Belarus, of St Nicholas the miracle worker.
I love the stamp.
The other postcard was made of fabric and stitched, with a picture of The Rosa Parks Museum on the front – Rosa Parks was the first lady of civil rights, remembered for refusing to give up her seat for a white person on the bus!
What lovely card and great stamps too.
I like the fact by sending cards to and from other places in the world I continue to learn more history and geography. I’m rubbish at geography, but now hopefully getting better!
