Wow, I come back from my socially distanced shopping and this is what was in my mail box! I haven’t had so much mail in one day before, apart from maybe on my birthday. Three from IHanna DIY postcard swap 2020, one from a mail art group I belong to and one letter. Thanks everyone for my happy mail day 🙂
I’ve just sent out my first lot of mail art this year.
This is a postcard I sent locally to my friends Emma and Martin as a little surprise.
These postcards were in response to the last Ihanna postcard swap I did for people who put their addresses on the postcards they sent to me, thanks Theresa, Libby and Gloria in USA and also to Melita in Germany.
This card is to Andrew in Cheltenham, England who I met on our road trip in November. He wanted to know what mail art was, so as it’s the first day of this years ‘International Correspondence Letter Writing Month’, I’ve sent my first days mail to him.
A good start to February I think! 🙂
Wow, we’re having a bit of a heatwave here in the UK and I’m having trouble keeping up with things. I’m writing my postcards but not managing to share them.
These are very recent arrivals in my mailbox.
These first two are from China and Russia.
These are from the UK and Belarus and unbelievably the first one is a sand sculpture, Wow!
This last one is from Tina in Taiwan and she has send me this lovely handmade card. I especially love handmade! 🙂
Now I’m going to have a very cold drink 🙂
