Thank you to everyone who has sent me mail at this strange time of shutdown and quarantine. I have be trying to send out more mail to make people smile and you’ve certainly done that for me.
here are some of the postcrossing cards I have received recently from UK Germany, Costa Rica, Indonesia and Finland. I am sure I have missed photographing some as I’ve been sending my own.
Do carry on sending if you can and bring a smile to some ones face 🙂
I’ve just sent out my first lot of mail art this year.
This is a postcard I sent locally to my friends Emma and Martin as a little surprise.
These postcards were in response to the last Ihanna postcard swap I did for people who put their addresses on the postcards they sent to me, thanks Theresa, Libby and Gloria in USA and also to Melita in Germany.
This card is to Andrew in Cheltenham, England who I met on our road trip in November. He wanted to know what mail art was, so as it’s the first day of this years ‘International Correspondence Letter Writing Month’, I’ve sent my first days mail to him.
A good start to February I think! 🙂
I have received a little bit extra from my postcrossings this week. Nadia from Russia sent me these lovely stamps along with her card and also obviously I got the stamps on the envelope. 🙂
Then I got this lovely first day cover from Sutan in Indonesia along with her card and an information leaflet telling me about the stamp as well.
Very happy 🙂
I’m excited to start my Postcrossings for 2020. I don’t know who I’m going to meet or what countries I’m going to send to or receive from. I’ve been a member of this project for Nine years and have sent 637 postcards around the planet and I’ve also received 637 postcards. That is totally spectacular, who’d have thought it possible. 🙂
My first postcards for this new year are to
Chen in Taiwan, Irina in Russia,
Cynthia in China, Melanie in Germany
Mazli in Malaysia and Alena in Slovakia
Six different countries straight away, a very good start!
It was time for the Autumn ‘IHanna DIY postcard swap’ this month. All participants send out 10 handmade postcards; these are the ones that I sent out
and these are what I’ve received so far.
I do love taking part:-)
Ooooh, lovely postcards coming in from USA, Czech Rep, and Germany
Belarus and China,
Bulgaria and Sweden 🙂
Time to send some back out there! 🙂
I love my mail box! I got kind words from Netherlands, Germany, Belarus, Russia and Canada recently. Such diversity is amazing 🙂
I’m sending out some Union Jack flag postcards today to Russia, Germany, USA and South Korea. What makes these unique is they are a reproduction of a collage I did a while ago, so quite original!
I’m glad to have sent out Postcrossing cards recently to Belarus, Italy, Japan, Romania, Canada and Bulgaria!
Also a reply to my letter from Nancy in USA 🙂
I love sending out to so many different countries, it definitely helps with geography! 🙂
What beautiful mail I got this morning, from China, Germany and Latvia, very happy! 🙂
