Here’s another thing I got through the post for Christmas, from my friend Susanne in Germany. This beautifully decorated story box with Christmas goodies inside.
The story was written on the outside and as I opened the box it continued on the inside.
What a charming thing to receive by mail, hard to photograph, but I did my best 🙂 Thanks Susanne!
I regularly go to our local collectors market which is held once a week here in Fakenham. Last week I found this vintage stamp.
It had loose letters spelling this.
I decided I wanted to make an anagram and use all the letters and spell something to do with my mail. I managed to use all but about four and came up with this! 🙂
Here is lots of mail art going out to some lovely people.
Hare mail going to Iryna in Belarus, with ATC and art stamps.,
Yellow postcards using print, collage and Perle pens to Anastasiya in Russia and Susanne in Germany,
To Josephine in the Netherlands a postcard made from abstract painting and collage
also for Renee in USA
and to Nancy in the USA a hand made book with secret pockets, a postcard and some stickers.
I’m so glad to have sent all these! 🙂
I was really happy to find these few treasures on a stall at our collectors market here in Fakenham. There is a collectors market every Thursday and I often have a walk around and see if anything catches my eye. The dip pens, the vintage rubber stamp and the paper knife were only £1 each so I snapped them up of course! 🙂
These are two pieces of mail art I have received recently from Richard in France.
I look forward to receiving mail from Richard, I’m currently using an image of the top envelope as my wallpaper 🙂
This is some recent beautiful mail that arrived in my mail box.
This beautiful book, handmade by Nancy in USA,
A collaged postcard from Renee also in USA
and a super collection of self-reliant themed goodies (and a book) from lovely Leeanne here in the UK.
Lots of blessing in my mail box, only one of the reasons to send mail! 🙂
Oh my goodness, I’ve been soooo busy lately with promoting my art products, I’ve not been able to give my beautiful mail the time I would like!
I received this beautiful card a while ago and still haven’t shared it with you. It’s from a new mail art pal called Renee from the US.
So much work has gone into it, isn’t it fab!
It’s just as amazing on the other side.
Lots of inspiration comes with this card, doesn’t it? 🙂
