Even though I have the annual Christmas cold, I’ve been enjoying sending out my Christmas mail. I’ve had one of my paintings made into our Christmas card this year, sent with my art stamps attached. I’ve included some other bits and pieces to my regular mail pals 🙂
If you send all sorts of mail, you get all sorts of mail in return 🙂
Here are some of my recently received letters from the USA and Italy, lovely words from Elisa, Debbie and Deborah. If you begin to write to some one new, the chances are that you begin a friendship that lasts many years, getting to know them by who they are not what they look like, treasuring the things they tell you about themselves. Why don’t you try it? It doesn’t have to be a long letter, it’s the thought that counts!
I have part of my mail for the Elevated Envelope project ready to go out. I did two different types this time. This one is based on a poem I wrote and printed, you may have seen it over on my art blog.
Here’s the contents……
….and here they are all ready to go out to Courtney, Deidre and Donna in USA and Eleonora in Italy.
I’m very excited and they are all sent with a blessing! 🙂
Yesterday I received two lovely postcards, one from Laura showing me some beautiful scenery of Italy…
…and one from Mick showing me some architecture of Essen in Germany.
I also received a lovely card from Deborah from the USA and I think we are going to carry on exchanging mail/art.
I’d better get on making some mail art hadn’t I? and I have two more Postcrossing cards to send 🙂
